There are days when motherhood feels like magic—and days when it feels like molasses. Slow, sticky, overwhelming. Those are the days when the dishes pile up, the toddler screams feel endless, and guilt creeps in like an old friend you never invited over.
But here’s the truth I’m learning: the hard days don’t define our motherhood. They don’t make us less loving or less present—they make us human.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is admit that we’re struggling. Say it out loud. Whisper it to a friend. Write it in a journal. Cry in the shower. And know that doing so isn’t weakness—it’s strength. Vulnerability is connection. And connection is everything.
So if today feels heavy, take a deep breath. You’re still a good mom. You’re still doing enough. And you are not alone.
